Two Tory MPs and a Conservative peer have been rallying members to block Reform UK from winning the next general election. Shadow Scottish Secretary Harriet Cross, Aberdeen South MP Douglas Lumsden and Tory polling guru Lord Hayward joined former metro mayor Andy Street in the push.
The group is urging tactical voting aimed squarely at anti-Reform voters. Their aim is clear: stop Reform UK taking seats and keep Nigel Farage well clear of No10. This is hard-edged party business, not soft talk.
Harriet Cross and Douglas Lumsden have been working the membership directly. Lord Hayward, with his polling experience, has added weight to the call. Andy Street stands with them. Together they want Conservative supporters to back whoever can shut Reform out.
GB News has examined the effort and it leaves little room for doubt. These figures see Reform UK as the threat that must be contained at the ballot box. They are organising now so the next general election does not deliver a Reform breakthrough.
The message to members is practical and blunt. Vote to block. Put the larger goal first. Cross, Lumsden, Hayward and Street are not waiting for permission. They are already on the ground making the case.
Conservatives who want Farage kept from power have been handed a route. The four are driving it. Reform UK will face organised resistance from inside the Tory tent, and the tactical vote is the chosen weapon.
