Britain must end mass migration and radically overhaul postal voting to prevent political sectarianism from distorting democracy, a major new report warns. The Centre for a Better Britain published sweeping proposals calling for strict electoral curbs.

A hard-hitting report released by the Centre for a Better Britain has argued that the country’s democratic process faces severe distortion. According to The Daily Express, the think tank with close links to Reform UK warns that the public was never asked about mass migration and that voter wishes have repeatedly been ignored.

The study proposes limiting postal votes exclusively to individuals with a genuine medical need. The authors argue that this restriction would instantly remove the risk of widespread postal fraud and guarantee a secret ballot free from external community pressures.

Sweeping Electoral Reforms Proposed

Further measures outlined in the document include new electoral offences targeting religious coercion and restrictions on foreign language campaigning. The report calls for criminalising actions by religious figures or organisations using spiritual authority to sway voters.

Government figures have pushed back against the findings. A Government spokesperson stated: “We reject the claims in this report. We have made significant progress in reducing net migration, which is down by 82% from its 2023 peak, and visa numbers continue to fall as we deliver the control the public expect.”

Officials also maintained that existing elections remain completely safe and secure, confirming no plans to implement the suggested voting restrictions.
