Home Office Admits Asylum Leaflet Consultation

The Home Office has faced fresh fury after admitting that asylum seekers were consulted on a nine-page guide instructing new arrivals not to commit sexual assaults. According to the Daily Express, the disclosure has sparked fierce criticism from opposition politicians.

The controversial nine-page document, titled Understanding Behaviours and Expectations in the UK, was designed to inform new arrivals about cultural norms and legal standards. Among its directives, migrants are warned that men and women are equal, and explicitly told not to make sexual comments towards strangers, whistle, or make kissing sounds.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp slammed the decision to involve asylum seekers in the process. Speaking on the revelation, he highlighted the lack of consultation with actual victims of crime.
