Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has reclaimed the top spot in a fresh blow to Andy Burnham, as new polling indicates that Labour’s leadership bounce is already stalling. According to the Daily Express, Reform sits at 23% while Labour remains flat at 22%.
Reform Holds Firm at Number One
The latest political tracking numbers show that Reform UK has managed to maintain its position at the summit of public polling. Nigel Farage’s party recorded 23% support in the figures published by the Daily Express.
This performance comes despite recent scrutiny surrounding party financing and external investigations. Voters appear to be keeping faith with the populist party as Westminster settles into a new parliamentary landscape.
The Stalling Labour Bounce
For Andy Burnham, the numbers represent an abrupt halt to the momentum that followed his arrival in Downing Street. Labour had previously overtaken Reform in YouGov polling for the first time in 18 months following Sir Keir Starmer’s exit.
However, the latest figures show Labour completely unchanged at 22%. Observers note that the honeymoon period for the new leadership team may have concluded far sooner than party managers anticipated.
- Reform UK leads the latest poll on 23% support
- Labour stays static in second place with 22%
- Kemi Badenoch’s Conservatives tick up one point to 20%
- Zack Polanski’s Greens and the Liberal Democrats both poll at 13%
Opposition Parties Seek Capital
Elsewhere across the political spectrum, other parties are looking to capitalise on the shifting numbers. The Conservative Party ticked up one point to reach 20% under Kemi Badenoch’s direction.
Smaller parties also maintained notable ground, with both the Greens and Liberal Democrats registering 13%. As the political reality of the new term sets in, all parties face mounting pressure to deliver concrete answers to voters.
The latest polling confirms that the initial leadership bounce for Labour has flatlined, leaving Nigel Farage’s Reform UK firmly back in the driving seat of public opinion.
