Reform UK has announced it will immediately detain and deport up to 400,000 asylum seekers who arrived illegally in the last five years if it wins the next general election, creating “pop up” detention centres to hold thousands and reviewing all recent asylum grants.
Reform’s Tough New Border Plan
The policy would target anyone who entered by small boat, in the back of lorries or using fake documents. It would also review all asylum grants from the last five years, stripping status from those who arrived illegally or overstayed visas, and removing those whose home countries are now deemed safe.
Pop Up Detention Centres
With current immigration removal centre capacity under 3,000 beds, Reform plans “pop up” detention centres for those who do not leave voluntarily. A UK Deportation Command would oversee mass removals of up to 600,000 illegal migrants already in the country, bringing the total to around one million.
Zia Yusuf: “Reverse the Invasion”
Reform’s home affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf said: “For years, Tory and Labour governments have presided over an invasion of Britain. They have effectively operated an open borders policy. Reform will reverse this.”
- Up to 400,000 illegal arrivals detained and deported
- Review of all asylum grants in last five years
- “Pop up” detention centres to hold thousands
- UK Deportation Command for mass removals
- Anyone arriving illegally stripped of status
Reform UK: Only Party With a Real Plan
Reform UK is the only party willing to take the decisive action needed to stop the boats, end the hotel scandal and restore control of our borders. Nigel Farage and the party have made clear: Britain is no longer a soft touch. Illegal migrants will be detained and deported – no excuses, no delays.
What This Means for Britain
British towns and villages are being changed forever by uncontrolled illegal migration. While Labour and the Tories talk tough but deliver record small boat crossings, Reform has a deliverable plan: declare a national emergency, create secure detention facilities, leave the ECHR and start mass deportations with five daily flights.
With local elections weeks away, voters have a clear choice. Enough of the chaos. Reform UK will stop the boats, protect British communities and put British people first.
