The hard-Right Restore Britain party has erupted into open conflict after leader Rupert Lowe defended multiculturalism, sparking outrage among prominent supporters and threats to abandon the movement. This internal strife highlights deep divisions within the party’s base and raises questions about its future direction.
Restore Britain, a party positioned on the hard-Right, is facing an internal rebellion. The controversy began after an interview clip surfaced showing leader Rupert Lowe defending multiculturalism, a stance that directly contradicts the core beliefs of many of his most vocal supporters.
Lowe’s Multiculturalism Stance Sparks Fury
The Great Yarmouth MP, Rupert Lowe, was seen defending the King’s invitation of Muslim worshippers to Windsor. He stated, “He’s certainly very keen to propagate a multicultural society, which again I have no problem with if people integrate.” This comment immediately ignited a firestorm within the party’s anti-immigration fan base.
The statement has been met with widespread condemnation from key figures who have been instrumental in building the party’s profile. This internal conflict threatens to derail Restore Britain’s ambitions to become a dominant force on the Right.
Prominent Supporters Threaten Exodus
Multiculturalism has not worked, will never work, and was never wanted. If Restore Britain amounts to nothing more than a pressure campaign, then it has served its purpose.
— Connor Tomlinson, Activist
Activist Connor Tomlinson, a prominent supporter, blasted Lowe’s comments, asserting that multiculturalism is fundamentally flawed. He also criticised the party’s “Structural problems, weak candidates, and blasé decision-making,” warning that these issues have “stalled, possibly squandered” the opportunity to surpass Reform UK.
- Rupert Lowe defended multiculturalism, stating he had “no problem” with a multicultural society if people integrate.
- Prominent activist Connor Tomlinson declared multiculturalism “has not worked, will never work, and was never wanted.”
- Steve Laws, a far-Right supporter, demanded an immediate apology from Lowe and a commitment to “remigration.”
- A party member with 43,000 X followers questioned the point of voting for a party sharing a “worldview as Zack Polanski.”
- A donor, ‘Lord Miles,’ who gave £2,500, expressed fury over unfulfilled promises and is now reconsidering further substantial donations.
What This Means for Britain
This internal collapse within Restore Britain translates directly into uncertainty for working families. When parties meant to champion British values descend into infighting over fundamental principles, the focus shifts from addressing the real concerns of ordinary people to internal squabbles. This chaos distracts from the critical issues impacting your daily life, from the cost of living to the state of our public services.
Economically, such disarray within a prominent right-wing voice creates a vacuum that can be exploited by those who do not prioritise British prosperity. It signals instability, potentially deterring investment and confidence at a time when our economy needs clear, consistent leadership.
Politically, this episode exposes a pattern of internal division and a failure to articulate a coherent vision for Britain. It highlights the establishment’s inability to unite behind a clear path forward, leaving voters disillusioned and without a strong voice to represent their genuine concerns.
The stakes are incredibly high. If this infighting continues, it risks handing Britain over to forces that do not share our values, further eroding the foundations of our society. Readers must understand the gravity of this situation now, before it is too late.

I dont understand the risk if Restore fails… they only splinter the vote
I would be worried if it was Reform that was fighting between themselves and saying the opposite to their values.
Exactly, at least Reform seem to think about their policies before implementing them, with how they are going to action them
