Starmer Delays Release of Explosive Mandelson Files Until After Local Elections

The Government is delaying the release of the second tranche of documents relating to Lord Mandelson’s failed security vetting until after the May local elections, prompting fresh accusations of a cover-up.

Files Held Back Until After May Vote

Whitehall sources have confirmed the second batch of papers on Mandelson’s appointment as US ambassador will not be published before the local elections on 7 May. The documents were due to be released under a Humble Address motion forcing the Government to hand over all relevant papers.

Opposition Accuses Starmer of Cover-Up

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch and Reform UK have accused Starmer of deliberately delaying the files to limit damage ahead of the elections. Reform UK leader Nigel Farage described the scandal as “blatant dishonesty” and said the delay proves there is more to hide.

  1. If the papers are not released before the election just dont vote for the labour party as they must be hiding something that way stammer has to resign
