Editorial Policy

News and opinion. Breaking Brexit News publishes news reports and opinionated commentary. Reports set out what happened, and the site’s view on a story is part of what readers come for.

Accuracy. Opinions are the site’s own, but the facts behind them must be right. When a story is based on someone else’s statement or reporting, the article says so and links to the source.

Sources. Wherever possible, articles link to the original source of a story.

Corrections. When Breaking Brexit News gets a fact wrong, the article is corrected promptly with a note saying what changed and when.

Independence. The site isn’t affiliated with any political party, and advertisers have no say over what it covers.

Reader polls. Polls on articles are for discussion and aren’t scientific surveys.
