Sir Keir Starmer has resigned as Prime Minister, a departure Reform UK MP Suella Braverman deems “inevitable” after two years of “scandal”. Braverman asserts Starmer’s tenure will be remembered as one of the worst in British history.

The political landscape shifts dramatically today with the resignation of Sir Keir Starmer from his position as Prime Minister. This development follows a period marked by significant controversy and public discontent, culminating in a departure that many, including prominent figures like Suella Braverman, have long anticipated.

Braverman Details Starmer’s “Worst” Premiership

Speaking to GB News, Reform UK MP Suella Braverman did not mince words regarding Sir Keir Starmer’s time in office. She declared his resignation was “inevitable” after two years defined by “scandal,” painting a stark picture of his leadership.

Braverman’s critique highlighted a series of policy failures and controversial decisions, asserting that Starmer’s legacy would be one of the “worst in our history.” Her comments underscore a deep-seated dissatisfaction with the direction of the country under his premiership.

“I’m Not Going to Miss Keir Starmer”

Of course at a human level, you can’t help but be a bit moved, but I’m not going to miss Keir Starmer. He’s been one of the worst prime ministers our country has ever seen, and talk about legacy, I think his legacy is going to go down as one of the worst in our history. Mandelson scandal, corruption, a friend of a paedophile put into our most important position in Washington, the special relationship with the US is absolutely dead because of Starmer’s bad foreign policy. Chagos Islands, British territory being sold off in the name of reparations, a tin-earred response to grooming gangs, an absolute failure to stop the boats and secure our borders, record taxation, small businesses being crippled and going bust. I could go on. So this is a legacy of failure, and I’m afraid that the end was inevitable.

— Suella Braverman, Reform UK MP

Braverman’s candid assessment to GB News reveals a profound disillusionment with Starmer’s leadership, despite acknowledging the human aspect of any resignation. Her statement lays bare a comprehensive list of grievances, pointing to a premiership she believes was riddled with catastrophic errors and betrayals of British interests.

  • Starmer’s departure deemed “inevitable” after two years of “scandal.”
  • Accused of overseeing “one of the worst” prime ministerships in British history.
  • Cited the “Mandelson scandal” and “corruption” as key failures.
  • Criticised for appointing a “friend of a paedophile” to a crucial US diplomatic post.
  • Blamed for the “dead” special relationship with the US due to “bad foreign policy.”
  • Condemned for “Chagos Islands, British territory being sold off in the name of reparations.”
  • Highlighted a “tin-earred response to grooming gangs” and “absolute failure to stop the boats.”
  • Pointed to “record taxation” and “small businesses being crippled and going bust.”

What This Means for Britain

This resignation, and the scathing assessment from figures like Suella Braverman, signals a moment of profound uncertainty for every working family in Britain. When leaders are accused of selling off British territory and failing to secure our borders, it’s your national pride, your safety, and your children’s future that are put at risk.

The economic fallout from “record taxation” and “small businesses being crippled and going bust” directly impacts your household budget. It means fewer jobs, higher prices, and a harder struggle to make ends meet, eroding the very foundations of our prosperity.

This pattern of alleged “scandal” and “failure” exposes a political establishment seemingly out of touch with the real concerns of the British people. It highlights broken promises and a leadership that, according to Braverman, has overseen a decline in Britain’s standing and security.

If this trajectory continues, Britain risks further erosion of its sovereignty, economic stability, and social cohesion. It is imperative that every citizen understands the gravity of this moment and demands accountability for the future of our nation.

This must be seen by every British voter. Share if you believe Britain deserves better.
