Reform UK is plotting to raise a staggering £100 million for the next General Election, a sum that would shatter all previous records for a British political party. This unprecedented war chest, driven by billionaire donors, reveals the true scale of ambition and the establishment’s deep pockets behind the party now leading the polls.

This colossal fundraising effort, if successful, would eclipse any fighting fund ever amassed by a UK political party. It signals a seismic shift in the political landscape, with implications for every voter concerned about the future of Britain and the influence of money in politics.

The Establishment’s Latest Betrayal

Reform UK, now the poll favourites, aims to raise this record-breaking sum, spearheaded by Party Leader Nigel Farage and billionaire honorary treasurer Nick Candy. This comes after their landslide success in last month’s local elections, securing 14 councils and 2400 councillors nationwide.

The money is earmarked for vetting and recruiting new candidates and to fight the 2028 London mayoral contest, where Reform’s Laila Cunningham is seen as a strong contender against incumbent Sadiq Khan. This massive financial backing raises serious questions about who truly controls the party and its agenda.

The Admission That Changes Everything

“a reward for campaigning for Brexit for 27 years”

— Christopher Harborne, Major Donor

This shocking admission from major donor Christopher Harborne, confirming a previous £5 million payment to Nigel Farage, exposes the true nature of these “gifts.” It reveals a system where vast sums are exchanged for political influence, raising concerns about transparency and accountability at the highest levels.

Farage himself is currently under investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards over this undeclared £5 million, claiming it was an “unconditional gift” before he re-entered politics. This raises serious questions about the integrity of our political figures and the rules they operate under.

  • Reform aims for £100 million, exceeding Labour’s 2024 fund of £86.7 million.
  • The party received £9.2 million in donations in the first three months of this year, more than double Labour’s (£4.2m) and the Conservatives’ (£4m).
  • Major donors include crypto entrepreneurs Christopher Harborne (£4m) and Ben Delo (£3m), and JCB owner Lord Bamford.
  • Harborne previously gave Reform UK £9 million, the largest ever donation to a UK political party by a living person.
  • Ben Delo plans to return to the UK to bypass new caps on overseas donations, allowing him to give even more.

What This Means for Britain

This unprecedented financial muscle for Reform means a well-funded, relentless campaign that could reshape Britain’s future. For working families, this could translate into policies driven by the interests of the wealthy elite, rather than your daily struggles with the cost of living or access to vital NHS services.

The economic impact of such a heavily funded party, potentially influenced by billionaire donors with specific agendas, could be profound. It raises fears about the direction of our economy, jobs, and national investment, especially if policies favour certain industries or individuals over the broader public good.

This pattern of colossal donations and the ongoing investigation into Nigel Farage’s undeclared funds expose a political establishment seemingly operating above the rules. It highlights a broken system where promises are easily forgotten, and accountability is often an afterthought.

If this continues, Britain risks becoming a nation where political power is bought, not earned. Your voice, your vote, and your future are at stake. We must demand transparency and integrity from those who seek to govern us.

Share if you believe Britain deserves better than a political system bought by billionaires. Demand answers from your MP. This must be seen by every British voter.

  1. Funding of political parties by Unions is very suspect and in need of review. Conflict of interest comes to mind when members of unions directly benefit from such close association, with some unions having a strangle hold on a sitting government by way of industrial unrest if their demands are not met.,..

  2. So it’s alright for Labour to receive funds from Cayman Island Hedge funds and people like Dale Vince and Ecotricity who make millions back in green contracts and subsidies. Then you have union influence with the billions they donate. Ok then.

  3. Does make me laugh no one squeaks at all about any of the other parties donations received, soon as a new party comes along (Reform) and gets to the top of the polls and all the parties, msm, lefties start screaming out about donations……that is called fear that is called running scared…LOND LIVE REFORM …VOTE REFORM AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY by the way without millionaires and billionaires investing business close down so they are more than welcome, let have more employment
