Labour Implodes as Starmer Allies Turn on Scottish MPs

  • Keir Starmer’s allies have sparked outrage by branding Scottish Labour MPs “idiots” and “hypocrites” amid fears of a leadership challenge.
  • Anas Sarwar admits Starmer is unpopular in Scotland, as Labour braces for a crushing Holyrood defeat.
  • Wes Streeting is tipped as a potential successor, despite publicly denying any leadership ambitions.
  • Polls suggest Labour could slump behind the Scottish National Party and Reform UK, deepening internal panic.

Labour’s carefully stage-managed image of unity has collapsed in spectacular fashion, with a full-blown internal war now raging behind the scenes. And this time, the knives are out in public.

Allies of Keir Starmer have unleashed an extraordinary barrage at Scottish Labour MPs, branding them “idiots” and “hypocrites” amid accusations they are quietly plotting to remove the Prime Minister. Nothing screams confidence like calling your own MPs names via anonymous briefings.

The row centres on growing panic inside Labour over Scotland. With the Scottish Parliament election looming, insiders fear a humiliating collapse to third place behind the Scottish National Party and Reform UK. One Scottish source even admitted Labour branding was dropped from Anas Sarwar’s New Year speech. When you hide the logo, the problem probably isn’t the font.

Starmer loyalists insist Scottish MPs owe their seats to him and should “talk up the Government”. Translation: stop panicking and clap louder. But the mood north of the border is grim. Voters are angry, impatient, and increasingly unconvinced Labour is delivering anything resembling change.

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar openly conceded Starmer is “not popular with the public right now”, tactfully suggesting senior Westminster figures might be more useful staying in London and out of sight.

Meanwhile, speculation swirls around potential successors. Health Secretary Wes Streeting insists he is focused on NHS waiting lists, while Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is quietly added to the whispered shortlist. Everyone denies ambition. Everyone always does.

Starmer, for his part, struck a defiant tone in Cabinet, framing the next election as a battle between Labour and Reform. It was meant to rally the troops. Instead, it underlined the problem.

When a governing party starts fighting itself, voters usually finish the job.

Have your say

None of the United Kingdom will be sorry to see the whole of Labour demolished we can then get back to proper democracy

Like panic stricken rats in a sack devouring each other. Will only intensify after Liebour are decimated in the May elections. We are witnessing the dying days of Starmer as PM and Liebour as a political force.

what dictator starmer and his treacherous mob don’t realise is the rest of the indigenous population see them as mendacious hypocritical idiots

I would use stronger words, I’m 80 and seen them come ango ,but this lot hypocrites haven’t got a clue running a country they certainly know how to bankrupt and wreck the uk , and we don’t just want starmer gone, but we don’t want the ginger bitch or lefty Lammy or even the one that’s got his brains blowing in the wind, it’s got to be the only party that will stop migration . And get British industry back up and running,

He’s a dictator and has no interest in the British people at all
Thinks he’s a big man but definitely not

Starmer has to go. He’s ruining this country, pushing us into poverty, free speech has gone, we live in a dictatorship not a democracy. Most hated PM ever

Starmer is a Globalist puppet, and the Globalist agenda is the abolition of boarders and therefore the abolition of countries, as we know them. Western democracies are under violent attack from these parasites through the dilution of Christianity and Patriotism caused by the ceaseless influx of ‘immigrants’. Without the basic foundations of western society – Christianity and Patriotism – our society, our way of life, will cease to exist and be replaced by a card-controlled, phone-controlled, ID card-controlled zombie population, resulting in the formation of a 21st Century ‘Feudal System’.
This is not ‘incompetent Government’; this is political treachery of the highest order. How that man had the nerve, the effrontery to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph, in memory of those who died for our FREEDOM, I will never know. Both he and the rest of his treacherous bunch need to go . . and go NOW !
